RETURN TO JIM'S BIKE DETAIL SHOP 6-28-2011

Tuesday, 6-28-2011, I rode down to see Jim at the Detail Shop as it has been awhile since I did an update on the business. Scroll down and join me as I visit Jim and REMEMBER: IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE PICTURE BIGGER, JUST CLICK ON THE PICTURE.

JIM'S BIKE DETAIL SHOP is located at 1001 Holliday St. (10th & Holliday) in Wichita Falls Texas.  Phone numbers 232-4181 & 691-1121.

This Harley Fat Boy belongs to Dearl & Anne. He traded in his beloved 1200 custom Sporty for it and both he and Anne love this bike.

Here is Jim, all grins all the time. He is very good at what he does. And he stays busy. He does Texas state inspections for both motorcycle & auto, in addition to full service work on motorcycles as well as detailing..

This is Anne, Dearl's wife.She's a sweetheart.

This is Tammy, Jim's girlfriend. She's a sweetheart and a hoot to be around. She also owns and rides a Screamin' Eagle Softail Custom (I think).

Here are Tammy &  Dearl striking a friendly pose. Not to worry, as Jim & Anne were there when I took this..
Tammy & her daughter, Brandi, are heading out. I took some pictures of them together and of Brandi by herself but they weren't on the camera when I got home.  hmmmm

Jim & Dearl out front of the Detail Shop standing by Jim's 2010 Custom built bike. The bike has about 400 miles on it and Jim is wanting to sell it.

Me and Dearl out front of Jim's Bike Detail Shop.

Dearl on his newly acquired Harley Fat Boy. He said the bike has had  a high performance kit put on it and it flat hauls butt!! I lost my notes on today's visit and ya'll know how bad my CRS is. But I'll do my best.

Another view of Dearl on his new Harley.

This is Jim's Street Glide. And the Harley closest to the camera is Tammy's.

Dearl is waiting on Anne to finish up her phone call so they can get a picture taken. Gotta love that look on Dearl's face!

This 2009 Suzuki Boulevard is for sale at Jim's. It is low mileage and I think it is going for $11,000. You can call Jim at either 940-232-4181 or 940-691-1121 he will verify the asking price and answer questions you may have pertaining to the business or any of the bikes that are for sale.
While at the Shop, my good friend Ector stopped by and showed me his casted hand. Ector rides a Harley and he rides with us at times, but is unable to at this time due to his hand.

Ector is also an artist and he showed the design he drew on his cast.  He is also makes Indian flutes and just about anything else you may want. He is extremely talented.

Anne finishes her call and here are Dearl & Anne on their pride & joy!

Another picture of Dearl & Anne on their Harley.

As Jim looks on from the bench out front, I take yet another picture of Dearl & Anne.

Can't you just feel the love?

This is Tammy's Harley. She has no trouble what so ever handling this bike.

This is Jim's 2010 Custom Built bike. It has approximately 400 miles on it and it is also for sale. Jim is asking $12,000 for it and a lot of people say he is giving it away at that price. At least I think it's $12,000. If you are interested in the bike, you can call Jim and he can give you all the specs and price.

Me & Jim. Two days later I would total out my Harley when the front tire blew at 72 mph on TX HWY 79, 6 miles from Oklahoma.
Last picture taken today of Dearl & Anne. They are great people and I value their friendship.

This is the area in which Jim does the detailing & washing. Jim wanted me to mention that a bike detail costs $60 and that includes a washing and all covers removed and cleaned. For a full service (except tires) with full bike detail is $120 excluding parts. This also includes pick-up and delivery. Any other questions you may have about the work you need done, call Jim and talk to him and see if he can help you out.

This is the area Jim does the State Inspections on the bikes and auto's.

The last picture of this post is of the phone numbers to Jim's Bike Detail Shop. Call him today and let him put a detail on your bike that he is known for here in North Texas/Southern Oklahoma. If you're in the area, stop in and tell him hi and tell him you read about him on the North Texas Biker blog.

I enjoyed visiting Jim, as always, and glad I got to see Tammy, Dearl & Anne. I look forward to visiting again soon.
