1970 CORVETTE STINGRAY FOR SALE 10-9-2011

Since it will be approximately 8 more weeks before my foot is fully healed and I get released by the Doc to ride the Harley and start with the biker posts again, that when my sister called yesterday and told me her husband & her were selling their Corvette and would I do a post on it for her, I said sure. I know old Corvette's in mint condition are hot items and that a lot of bikers own Corvette's, I know that this Corvette will not last long. So, scroll down, check out the pictures of their Corvette and, if seriously interested, give them a call at the number that will be provided on down in the post and talk to them about it. They, Ted & Vicki, are selling their 1970 Corvette Stingray. The Corvette is red on red (interior)and is a convertible with an automatic transmission. Above are Vicki & Ted in the Corvette, which has been kept in the garage.

The engine was rebuilt in 2007 and is a 350/300 hp with 17,000 miles on it. It has the original interior that Ted was going to redo but one of the guys with Classic Auto's in Detroit Michigan told him not to touch the interior because it would enhance the value of the Corvette. It has the original wheels & hubs, AM/FM stereo (factory installed & original) and also comes with a hardtop.
Ted says the only thing not original are the gas tank, water pump and the main drive pulleys.

The interior is gently worn and in good shape while the rest of the Corvette is in mint condition. It has been in a lot of the classic cruises on Woodward Avenue (in Detroit) and in several of the Classic car shows in and around the Detroit Michigan area. I guess that I ought to introduce Vicki & Ted before I forget. Vicki is my baby sister and Ted is my .brother-in-law

And the last picture on the post is the rear end of the Corvette. I have ridden in this Corvette with Ted and it purrs like a kitten and is a strong running Corvette. It will put a big grin on your face as you ride around and everybody waves at you and gives you the thumbs up.
The Corvette is valued at and insured for $38,900. Ted is asking $29,500 for the Corvette, but if you are a serious buyer, he will negotiate with you. So, here's a chance for you to have an American Classic that you will be proud to show off and you may even want to enter it in car shows like Ted & Vicki did. If interested, call 313-382-3189 and speak to Ted. He can answer any and all questions about the Corvette.
Be sure to scroll down and click on the OLDER POSTS link at the bottom of each page for more posts.
Until next post, you all be careful out there, keep the rubber on the road, keep your head in the 360 degree mode and above all else...........................RIDE SAFE!! ....................JOHN
