SPENDING TIME AT DESIGNMASTER'S TATTOO 12-21-11

On Wednesday. 12-21-11, I rode the Harley down to see TATU at Designmasters Tattoo Studio here in Wichita Falls Texas. After calling TATU first, he told me that GUNNER and his son Joshua were heading down to the Studio from Lawton Oklahoma. Scroll down and check out Designmaster's Tattoo Studio and see who was there during my visit.  REMEMBER: IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE PICTURE BIGGER, JUST CLICK ON THE PICTURE.

This is the Designmaster's Tattoo sign located out in front of the business. The address is 3502B Sheppard Access Rd Wichita Falls Texas and the phone number is: 940-733-9151. (The studio is located a couple blocks South of the main gate of Sheppard AFB).

This is the studio building. Joshua's truck is the white truck and TATU's is the silver truck.

This GUNNER and his son, Joshua. Joshua is home on leave from he US NAVY and is assigned to a Nimitz class aircraft carrier. His next port of call is Japan. And girls, Joshua is single... GUNNER is the Vice President of the Red River Chapter of the Guardians  Of The Children. See this link for info o n the Nimitz Class Carriers:  http://www.naval-technology.com/projects/nimitz/ and this link for the US Navy: http://www.navy.mil/swf/index.asp

This is our back patch for our Chapter of the Guardians Of The Children. Unfortunately, this will be the last posting of anything to due with the GOC on FaceBook. I Just received an e-mail from the upper echelon that we are no longer to post GOC business on FB... for more info on the Red River Chapter of the GOC, see this link: http://rrgoc5.blogspot.com/.  For more on the GOC, see this link: http://www.guardiansofthechildren.com/

This is TATU. He is the one that does my ink. If you are in the area and are thinking about getting a new tattoo, stop by and see TATU for all your inking needs. If he isn't there, see Stone, Jason or Sean. All are excellent artists. TATU is also our GOC-Red River Chapter's  National Rep and he sponsored me in to the GOC.

This is Jason, one of the other artists at Designmasters Tattoo Studio. I have watched Jason work and he is very, very good. Plus he is an interesting guy to talk to. He makes my visits extra enjoyable. Plus, he allows me to take pics of him applying ink.

This is the screen saver on TATU's computer. It's either his computer or the studio's computer.
Lubriderm Lotion is what you put on your tattoo to keep it from drying out and cracking. You use this AFTER the initial period when you get your tattoo. Immediately after, you put Aquafor on it to help with the healing and irritation to the skin that getting ink causes.
This stuffed bobcat with the reading glasses gets a laugh out of most customers.
Looking at the work areas. From closest to farthest: Sean's chair, TATU's new creme colored chair, Stone's chair and down by the window is Jason's chair. Jason was working on the lady, seen here in the sweats. She was getting a design on her right side to her hip. Since it was rather large, Jason was letting her get up and stretch before continuing
Joshua gets ready to receive his new ink and TATU prepares the necessary equipment & ink that he'll need.

GUNNER waiting patiently for his turn in TATU's chair...

Joshua is ready and Tatu applies the outline to Joshua's left upper arm. (THE REMAINING PHOTO'S WERE TAKEN BY GUNNER AND SENT TO ME WITH HIS PERMISSION TO USE THEM TO FINISH THIS POST). I had to leave to take care of some family business and could not take any more photos for this post. Thanks GUNNER!!
